Make change understandable
Explain what is changing, why, and what remains uncertain. Leaders do not need to pretend to have every answer. They need to create a clear environment where questions can be raised and addressed.
Practise specific behaviours
Active listening, reframing and constructive feedback develop through real situations. Work on the difficult conversations your teams actually encounter, rather than an abstract list of desirable qualities.
Embed learning in daily work
Create short opportunities to review situations, share experiments and adjust practices. Connect learning with management routines and everyday responsibilities. Change becomes more resilient when teams can keep progressing without constant external support.
